Alejandro Garnacho deal close, Xavi Simons latest and Chelsea's plan for rest of transfer window

We are now into the final 12 days of the summer transfer window and for Chelsea , it is set to be a really busy period in terms of both incomings and outgoings.

The Blues have brought in eight new players in total - with five of them being pre-agreed signings and three of those - Mamadou Sarr, Mike Penders and Kendry Paez - having all been loaned elsewhere for the season. The club have sold 11 players this summer and have earned more than £150million in transfer fees - and that figure is set to drastically increase before the September 1 deadline.

Chelsea are linked with selling a host of players, including the likes of Renato Veiga , Christopher Nkunku , Nicolas Jackson , Axel Disasi , Ben Chilwell , Carney Chukwuemeka and Raheem Sterling . The money they receive for any of the listed players will help the club in their respective pursuits of Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons .
