Nottingham Forest are set to confirm the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach in time for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Arsenal .

Forest parted company with Nuno Espirito Santo on Monday night and have moved quickly to find his successor.

According to the Athletic, Postecoglou is to be confirmed as the new Forest head coach imminently and will be joined by a number of staff he worked with at Tottenham prior to his departure earlier in the summer.

Furthermore, it is expected that Australian’s first game in charge of Forest will be away at Arsenal after the international break.
