The design for Arsenal's 2025/2026 'Originals' kit has been leaked, with Adidas making some significant decisions. The home, away and third kits for the current season were all unveiled back in May, but fans are eagerly awaiting one more strip from the club.
In a joint venture with Adidas, the Gunners, along with Bayern Munich and several other teams associated with the German brand, are set to launch a new jersey as part of a unique 'Originals collection', which will be available to supporters later this year.
Footy Headlines have now given us a sneak peek at what Arsenal's kit will look like, featuring intriguing details on the collar and shoulder. The image shows red as the dominant colour, with the iconic Adidas logo and old Gunners emblem in white, providing a vintage feel that is the goal of the 'Originals collection'.
The hint of blue used for the shoulder stripes and collar harks back to Arsenal's 2012/13 kit, which sported a similar shade. The inclusion of the old-fashioned cannon, which was the club's crest for a nine-year stretch in the 1970s, adds a touch of nostalgia to the strip.
Adidas' use of a past logo also contributes to its retro vibe. The kit is anticipated to be released before the end of 2025, allowing fans to don a throwback top to matches during the current season.
The design has sparked debate on social media, with one Arsenal fan stating: "Beautiful," followed by a star struck emoji before another added: "Reminds me slightly of the last Nike home kit we had with the dark round collar."
A third continued: "Take my money Arsenal," while a fourth disagreed, adding: "Lose the blue collar. That should 100% be our FA Cup kit. Bin off the jinxed white one, not belittling the great cause, but enough is enough."

However, it could prove to be a memorable one for Mikel Arteta and his team, with the Premier League title up for grabs.
A thrilling 2-0 victory over West Ham United propelled Arsenal to the top of the table, but it was their nail-biting triumph over Newcastle United - particularly as Liverpool faltered - that revealed a resilience perhaps absent in previous seasons.
"I think we discussed to go to the next level, first of all, you have to learn from the past," Arteta reflected in a press conference following the win. "And certainly we take some lessons and very different moments in this ground.
"And today was an opportunity that the game brings you again in a really important week in the Premier League. And after all the tough places that we've already been very early in the season, to show who we are, who we want to be, our ambition and the way that we want to play. And I think the team has done that today in a remarkable way.
"The belief and the conviction of the team that we are and that we can play various types of games and the team still can deliver and win it in a convincing way. And for me today, it's one of the most difficult grounds.
"Again, praise Newcastle, the way they play, compete, how difficult it is to play in this place. But the team really took the game to a different level, and I'm very proud to see that."
