Mikel Arteta is expected to rotate heavily after Sunday's crunch 2-1 Premier League win at Newcastle when Olympiacos visit north London on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners are looking to make it two wins from two in Europe after battling past Athletic Club at the San Mames two weeks ago.

This is their first home Champions League fixture since Paris Saint-Germain beat them 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium in last season's semi-finals. But thankfully, Arteta has a strong selection of players to choose from ahead of the matchup with the Greek giants.

David Raya is expected to keep his place between the sticks, even though Kepa Arrizabalaga kept a clean sheet in last week's 2-0 Carabao Cup win at Port Vale.

Ben White is expected to return at right-back after Jurrien Timber turned in a monstrous, all-action defensive display at St James' Park.

Cristian Mosquera, who played the opening 45 minutes at Newcastle and gave away the corner that led to Nick Woltemade's header, is expected to keep his place at the heart of Arteta's backline.

He could, however, be joined by William Saliba as Gabriel Magalhaes may earn another chance to rest. There is also a chance Arteta could name his first-choice centre-back duo and play both Gabriel and Saliba.

At left-back, Myles Lewis-Skelly comes in while there is plenty of competition for places in midfield.

In attack, Bukayo Saka could start a third consecutive game as he was withdrawn on 70 minutes at Newcastle.

That said, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Nwaneri start at right wing given he was brutally left out of the squad on Sunday despite travelling to Tyneside. Viktor Gyokeres is poised to lead the line while Gabriel Martinelli is expected to start on the left flank as he looks to build on his Champions League goal against Athletic.

Predicted team (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Mosquera, Lewis-Skelly; Zubimendi, Odegaard, Rice; Saka, Gyokeres, Martinelli.
