The former Nottingham Forest and Watford star showed all the makings of a future pundit with his takes, which he eloquently expressed.

But he'll need to work on his understanding of segment endings after leaving the studio before the break.

As the segment drew to a close, the Sky presenter said to the Nigeria international: " Nice to chat to you and have you in the studio.

"Please come back again and see us when you're at your new club. We wish you well.

A grateful Dennis replied: "Thank you so much. "

After the presenter thanked him again, Dennis stood up to walk off the set and said: "Thank you, bye."

Dennis' getting up from his seat stunned the presenter, who said: "Oh, he's gone."

His early exit went viral on social media, with one footie fan saying: "Oh my God."

Another said: "All-timer exit from an interview from Emmanuel Dennis."

And another said: "The Menace Emmanuel Dennis."

One remarked with a laughing emoji: "Lol."

Denns is currently a free agent following his departure from the City Ground.

He spent the second half of last season out on loan with Blackburn Rovers but only made six appearances for the Championship club.

He's been linked with a free transfer to Scottish champions Celtic in recent weeks.
