Ayden Heaven hands Man Utd injury scare as he is forced off for England U20s
MANCHESTER UNITED suffered an injury scare ahead of Sunday's trip to Liverpool after Ayden Heaven picked up a knock on international duty.
The Old Trafford centre-back went down in the first minute of England Under-20s' 1-0 defeat to Switzerland at St. George's Park on Friday .

Heaven had lengthy treatment before eventually being subbed off by manager Ben Futcher at half-time.
The 19-year-old seeing out the rest of the first half may offer some encouragement that the issue is not severe.
Heaven, who has regularly been on the bench for United this season, was expected to be in Ruben Amorim 's squad for the next match at Anfield on October 19.
Futcher said: "He picked something up. I don't think it is too serious but we will have to see how it settles down."
Heaven, who joined United from Arsenal’s youth set-up earlier this year, stepped up into the Red Devils’ first team at times in the second half of last season.
But the London-born star missed two months towards the end of the 2024/2025 campaign with a foot injury.
He was then a regular fixture in Amorim ’s three-man backline during pre-season but has struggled for regular game-time this term.
He has started just once - in the Carabao Cup defeat against Grimsby - and has been handed just three Prem minutes so far.

Heaven has a history of injuries, and in March this year he was forced off on a stretcher early in the second half in a comfortable 3-0 victory at Leicester.
He also hobbled off in the pre-season friendly win over Fiorentina at Old Trafford in August.
United return to action against Arne Slot 's champions after the international break, with Amorim aiming to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since taking charge.
Liverpool spent £450million to strengthen their squad in the summer but head into the match on the back of three consecutive defeats — including late losses to Crystal Palace and Chelsea .
