Barcelona in crisis as top brass identifies three major problems within the team

A new report from MARCA has revealed deep concerns within Barcelona , as the club’s hierarchy believes the team is lacking unity and collective focus.

The publication states that after suffering consecutive defeats, first against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and then against Sevilla in La Liga, alarm bells have started ringing inside the club.

These back-to-back losses have triggered a phase of self-reflection at every level, exposing what appears to be a growing sense of individualism over team spirit in the dressing room.

According to the report, those at the top of Barcelona are worried about the visible decline in solidarity and affinity both on and off the pitch.

The issue is not just about tactical imbalance but also about mentality and the sense that several players are acting more for themselves than for the badge.

While the existence of small groups within a squad is normal, the concern in Barcelona is that these divisions are starting to show in their match performances.

The club believes that the root cause of this problem lies in three areas.

Firstly, the youthfulness of the squad, the presence of internal cliques, and the lack of strong leadership in the dressing room.

Deco, the club’s sporting director, has already highlighted the problem . He pointed out that several players are making decisions on the pitch based solely on instinct or self-interest rather than looking up to spot teammates in better positions.

Even Hansi Flick had expressed similar concerns a month ago, warning that moments of selfishness were creeping into the team’s play.

Now, those fears have materialised. Joan Laporta, too, has echoed the same sentiment , insisting that the only way forward is through unity and collective effort.

The message from every corner of the club is now crystal clear that if Barcelona want to fight for the trophies, they must rediscover their identity as a team, not as a collection of individuals.
