Brighton threatened a late comeback through goals from Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas , but Mbeumo struck again in the 97th minute to seal the win and lift United into fourth place in the Premier League .
Mbeumo has taken his tally for United to five goals and one assist in 10 appearances across all competitions.

“It hasn’t been easy at the start, it’s a new environment, new expectation, but with my link-up with my team, everything is going the right way.”
“We all put a lot of work in training, that’s the most important thing.”
The Cameroonian continued, “What we do out there we try to repeat on the pitch. We are going to try to understand each other even better.”
Asked what has changed at United. Mbeumo answered, “The work we put in, the effort, the togetherness is the key. We try to stick to the plan and try to play as best as possible.”
“I like the challenges, I came here to a big club and I want to fight for the best places.”
