Chelsea have a couple more days to recharge their batteries before they're back in action. After storming past West Ham United at the London Stadium on Friday, the Blues have turned their attention to another London derby .

This weekend, Enzo Maresca's side will lock horns with Fulham at Stamford Bridge . While Chelsea may fancy their chances against the Cottagers, they could be without Cole Palmer, who's been nursing a minor groin injury.

Fortunately for the Blues, the summer transfer window doesn't shut until Monday , September 1, so they could always bring in some last-minute cover. Once the deadline passes, the lion's share of Maresca's squad will disperse for international break.

Xavi Simons transfer twist

The Blues have been biding their time in negotiations as they look to offload Nicolas Jackson or Christopher Nkunku before making an official offer. Leipzig, though, have options, with Simons very much in demand ahead of Monday's deadline.

Chelsea set Jackson price tag

Liverpool and Manchester United could help Chelsea rake in almost £80m for Nicolas Jackson this summer. According to the Daily Mail , the Blues believe the 24-year-old striker is worth more than the £74.1m that the Reds Devils spent on Benjamin Sesko, as well as the £79m that the Premier League champions paid Eintracht Frankfurt for Hugo Ekitike.

The report claims that Bayern Munich have emerged as frontrunners to secure Jackson's signature, having held talks over a loan deal in the last few days. It's said that the Senegal international has attracted interest from other clubs too.

The Daily Mail reckons that Chelsea would be open to letting Jackson leave on leave this week, so long as an obligation to buy for next summer is included.

Chelsea youngster nears exit

According to Fabrizio Romano , Chelsea have told Roma they want around €30m (£25.8m) for Tyrique George. The 19-year-old winger enjoyed a bit-part role in Maresca's squad last season, helping the Blues qualify for the Champions League.

The report claims that Chelsea want to include a heavy sell-on clause and add-ons to any potential deal. It's said that the west Londoners have no plan to loan George to the Serie A outfit, with only one international spot up for grabs.

Romano reckons that Chelsea have received approaches from two Premier League clubs, as well as a team from Germany.
