Chelsea recall Guiu from Sunderland after just three games as Jackson in limbo

CHELSEA have made the shock move to recall Marc Guiu from his loan at Sunderland after just three games.

The Blues have been in a mad scramble to bring in another striker before Monday's deadline after Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham on Saturday.

Chelsea initially blocked Nicolas Jackson's own loan move to Bayern Munich just minutes after the Senegalese striker touched down in Bavaria for a medical.

Jackson is understood to still be in Germany hopeful of completing the £13million loan move , which had a £53m option to turn permanent.

But Sky Sports Germany have, on Sunday evening, reported that that deal is now "100 per cent off".
