Chelsea vs Fulham simulated to get a score prediction for Premier League clash
A west London derby takes place this afternoon, with Chelsea hosting local rivals Fulham in the Premier League.
After drawing 0-0 with Crystal Palace on the opening weekend, Chelsea picked up their first three points of the season in a fantastic 5-1 win over West Ham, with Joao Pedro and Estavao both starring in the victory. Next up for the Blues is a clash against another London side, this time their closest rivals, Fulham.
Chelsea have won four of their last five meetings against the Cottagers, most recently a 2-1 win at Craven Cottage where Tyrique George and Pedro Neto got on the scoresheet. Cole Palmer missed the win against West Ham through injury, and the Englishman is set to be absent once again later today.
So, can Chelsea make it two wins in a row when they welcome Fulham to Stamford Bridge? Let's take a look...
Chelsea vs Fulham score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries, suspensions, and transfers. The kits from the 2025/26 season aren't available in EA FC 25, so both sides were lined up in last season's kits, while new transfers may have incorrect squad numbers in-game. Estevao is not usable in EA FC 25, so he cannot be used in the simulation.
We predict that Chelsea could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Tosin, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Neto, Pedro, Gittens; Delap.
We predict that Fulham could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Berge; Wilson, Iwobi, Sessegnon; Muniz.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty within two minutes at Stamford Bridge when Joao Pedro was dragged down in the box by Calvin Bassey, and the Brazilian stepped up to take, sending the 'keeper the wrong way and firing home to send the Blues into an early lead. The goal seemed to work more in Fulham's favour though, with the visitors using it as a wake-up call as they dominated Enzo Maresca's side until half-time.
Fulham should've been level when Robert Sanchez palmed Rodrigo Muniz's close-range effort into the path of Harry Wilson inside the box, but somehow, the Welshman missed the target from a few yards out. The pressure was mounting from the Cottagers, but with 14 minutes remaining, Chelsea grabbed a second to give themselves some much-needed breathing room.

After some nice build-up play, Reece James whipped a cross deep into the box, with Marc Cucurella the target at the back post. The Spaniard opted to drill the ball into the middle rather than shoot, and Jamie Gittens was on hand to fire into the bottom corner to make it 2-0.
Unlike the first goal, this one seemed to knock any belief out of Fulham, with the Blues holding out for a big three points.
