A long ball saw winger Abdulai compete with Posh full-back Johnston in the air but it resulted in a nasty collision.

Abdulai led with his boot in the air and caught Johnston in the face - leaving the referee no choice but to send him off.

The tackle was so bad some fans online compared it to WWE legend Shawn Michael's classic Sweet Chin Music finishing move.

One said: "So when Shawn Michaels does it he gets a standing ovation but when a Leyton Orient player it suddenly becomes a problem. Games gone.

Another added: "Azeem Abdulai with Sweet Chin Music."

One fumed: "One of the worst tackles I’ve ever seen."

Another said: "Shocking."

Abdulai signed for Orient in the summer from Swansea , playing in all but one of their games so far this season.

Despite his sending off, Orient still managed to win the game 3-1.

Charlie Gerard Richard Wellens - formerly of Manchester United - opened the scoring before Harley Mills levelled.

But second-half goals from Jack Moorhouse and Michael Craig sealed an away victory for ten-man Orient.
