A squad of 15 players will make up the teams with subs every three minutes — meaning paying punters are unlikely to get a full match with their hero.

The event takes place on the rooftop pitch at Hotel Football in Manchester , owned by Scholes’ former United teammates Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs .

They include a selfie with Scholes, 50, one autograph and a burger and fries.

A fan told The Sun: “Every United fan dreams of having a kickabout with their heroes but they will be hoping for ‘Fergie time’ so they get a bit longer on the pitch with Scholesy.”

Scholes played for the Red Devils for nearly 20 years up to 2013 and scored more than 150 goals.

A member of the famed Class of ’92 , he won 11 Premier League titles, three FA Cups , two Champions Leagues , two League Cups, one Intercontinental Cup, and a FIFA Club World Cup.

He had a short stint as interim manager of Salford City, which he co-owned with Neville and Giggs until the club was bought out in 2025.

He now works as a pundit.

Event organiser Heroes & Legends was asked to comment.
