📸 Jarrod Bowen’s equaliser against Everton marks a series of firsts

Where would West Ham be without their captain Jarrod Bowen?

The England international got himself on the scoresheet with a crucial second-half equaliser against Everton in the Premier League.

The Hammers had been trailing after a first-half header from Michael Keane, but Bowen’s strike is significant for several reasons.

In scoring, the 28-year-old became the first opposition player to net at Everton’s new home – the Hill Dickinson Stadium – in the Premier League.

He also scored the first goal of the Nuno Espírito Santo era, after the Portuguese coach succeeded Graham Potter in the West Ham dugout over the weekend.
