Lionel Messi scored a brace on Saturday, October 11, 2025, to give Inter Miami victory against Atlanta United in MLS.
The Argentine scored two goals in the penultimate game of the MLS regular season.

After a recovery of the ball by Baltasar Rodriguez, the midfielder found his compatriot with an intelligent pass, and Messi launched a brilliant left-footed shot inside the area, leaving Jayden Hibbert with no chance of stopping the shot.
But that would not be all from Messi on the night. With just four minutes remaining on the clock, Jordi Alba played a brilliant assist - reminiscent of his days at Barcelona - allowing Messi to control the ball and score Inter Miami's fourth and final goal.
With the victory
With this victory, Inter Miami tied FC Cincinnati for second place on 62 points, but has a superior goal difference with one game remaining in the regular season.
