Liverpool ended a four-game losing streak with a stunning win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. Arne Slot's men endured a nightmare start when Rasmus Kristensen fired the German side ahead in the first-half.
However, Hugo Ekitike drew the Reds level soon afterwards, before strikes from Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai completed a thumping 5-1 victory. Liverpool will now be desperate to build momentum as they hunt down Premier League leaders Arsenal .
Slot's squad return to league duties on Saturday night - when they travel to face Brentford (8pm). Below, is a look at the latest Liverpool injury news and expected comeback dates;
Slot has confirmed that Alexander Isak was withdrawn due to a groin problem during Wednesday's meeting in Germany. "Hugo got a big chance, and he scored it," he told TNT Sports. "Alex got a few. Unfortunately, he didn't score yet, but he had to go off at half-time because he felt his groin a little bit. That's a pity.
"I've said it many times, it's such a difficult balance to find with a player that missed out three months. You bring him slow, you bring him slowly.
"People also, maybe, sometimes argue with me if you can't play him more or more often, no longer. Now we've played him for the second time in three days and unfortunately he had to go off, so let's hope for the best.
"But it's it's not an easy balance to find if a player has been out for so long."

Jeremie Frimpong was also withdrawn during the triumph against Frankfurt, after sustaining a hamstring injury in the first period at Deutsche Bank Park. The Netherlands international was substituted after 19 minutes, with Conor Bradley brought on as his replacement.
"Jeremie is a hamstring issue. He came back from a hamstring injury a few weeks ago, and played for the national team one game, came back to us and now, unfortunately, after 10, 15 minutes, I don't know, he had to go off," Slot said post-match.

Ryan Gravenberch continues to be a fitness concern for Liverpool following his ankle twist in Sunday's defeat to Manchester United . The midfielder was absent from the journey to Germany as a consequence.
"I had to take him off during the weekend because he limped a little bit, as we could all see. So, unfortunately, he's not ready to play," Slot said before the Frankfurt game.
"That already means that I definitely have to change one player and, with him not being there, that might mean something for others as well, because he has such a particular quality in our squad, which we've seen when we played Bournemouth for example, when we played the Community Shield - that we missed a little bit of a player that was always protecting our back four.
"Ryan isn't available for the Frankfurt game, hopefully he will be available at the weekend. But it's an ankle injury, we have to wait and see, give him a bit of time and see where he is when we come back from Frankfurt."
Predicted return date: Brentford (A) - Saturday, October 25
Alisson is anticipated to be out of action for up to six weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury against Galatasaray in the Champions League last week. Ahead of Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Slot updated fans on the Brazilian's condition, saying: "Alisson is not a part of the squad tomorrow. And he's not going to travel to Brazil as well for the national team.
"So, he will be out for Saturday. How long he's out depends also on how fast the recovery goes. So, Saturday it's clear that he's not going to play for Brazil and I would be surprised if he would be there in the first game after the international break.
"But from there on, sometimes things can go a bit faster or a bit slower. It's always difficult to say the amount of days and weeks, but for the upcoming games he will not be part of us or the Brazil team."
Predicted return date: November
Centre-back Giovanni Leoni suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during his Liverpool debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup last month, and has since had surgery. He's expected to be side-lined until 2026.
