Man Utd vs Bournemouth: Pre-Season Clash in Chicago Showdown

Manchester United face Bournemouth next as the two Premier League sides continue with their pre-season endeavours. Both clubs are part of an English top-flight quartet taking part in the United States-based Premier League Summer Series, alongside Everton and West Ham .

The Red Devils kicked off their pre-season campaign with a goalless draw with Leeds United earlier this month, before flying across the pond to secure a 2-1 win over the Hammers at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday. A brace from Bruno Fernandes cancelled out Jarrod Bowen's strike for the London club, while new arrival Matheus Cunha also got valuable minutes under his belt.

The Cherries, meanwhile, kicked off their own summer preparations with a 2-1 win over Hibernian in a game played behind closed doors earlier this month. Philip Billing and Romain Faivre got themselves on the scoresheet for Bournemouth , while Kieron Bowie pulled one back for the Scottish side.

Billing was in scintillating form once more on Saturday as Bournemouth ran out 3-0 winners over Everton at the MetLife, with Dango Ouattara and Daniel Adu-Adjei also finding the back of the net. In game two of the United States mini-tournament, Manchester United are set to face Bournemouth, while Everton take on West Ham.

Manchester United and Bournemouth will clash at the 61,500-capacity Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. The venue is home to Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire , and the NFL's Chicago Bears . Everton's clash with West Ham will also be held at the same venue.

UK-based fans keen on watching the game from the comfort of their own home may want to stock up on something to keep them awake, as the clash will be a late one. The game between Manchester United and Bournemouth kicks off at 8.30pm local time in Chicago on Wednesday, July 30, which translates to 2.30am on Thursday, July 31 in the UK.

Everton's clash with West Ham, meanwhile, kicks off at the same venue at 11.30pm on Wednesday evening.

For those keen on staying up until the early hours of Thursday morning, the match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League. Sky Go customers will also be able to watch on their laptops and mobile devices. Meanwhile, NOW TV passes can be used to watch the game.
