Manchester United have been handed a boost ahead of their Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday. The Red Devils are looking to secure three consecutive league victories when they host the Seagulls following back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Liverpool. Brighton have won all their last three games at Old Trafford but could be without creator-in-chief Kaoru Mitoma for the trip to face Man United .

The Japanese is a doubt for Saturday’s game due to an ankle issue, which could be good news for head coach Ruben Amorim and his men. Mitoma scored and assisted to help Brighton to a 3-1 victory over Man United at Old Trafford the last time both clubs met in January. The Japanese attacker has been a constant thorn in the flesh for the Red Devils defence anytime they meet, and not having to face him tomorrow could be relieving for the hosts. Nothing is decided yet as the Seagulls still have to make a late decision on his availability, but things are not currently looking good as far as his fitness is concerned.
