Arsenal and West Ham are grappling with injury woes ahead of their Premier League clash on Saturday . The two teams have had differing fortunes at the start of the 2025/26 season, with the Hammers already forced to make a managerial switch.

Nuno Espirito Santo is gearing up for only his second match at the helm after stepping into Graham Potter's shoes last weekend. They managed a 1-1 draw against Everton on Monday night and will be aiming to cause a major upset tomorrow.

The Gunners enter the fray riding a wave of good form. Since their defeat to Liverpool in late August, Mikel Arteta's team have triumphed in five out of their last six matches, with the other ending in a draw against Manchester City .

A number of players have made a comeback from injury recently, including Bukayo Saka , who has recovered from a hamstring injury. However, some concerns still linger in the medical room at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Magalhaes was compelled to leave the pitch during the 2-0 Champions League victory over Olympiacos on Wednesday, and it's uncertain whether he'll be fit for the West Ham match.

"We'll have to wait and see after training, we've done almost nothing today so we'll see how everybody is but we weren't too concerned about him," Arteta told Football London .

His fellow defender Piero Hincapie is still waiting for his Premier League debut. After transferring from Bayer Leverkusen, the Colombian has only made a fleeting appearance against Athletic Club in the Champions League.

Asked what the latest is on his recovery, Arteta said: "He will be available after the international break.

"We've been trying to do everything as fast as possible but this came too fast and now we have the international break and hopefully after that, he will have a couple of sessions with the team and ready to go."

Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are all also sidelined with lengthy injuries. For West Ham, Espirito Santo may be missing four players, including key men Tomas Soucek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo.

Soucek is completing his ban following his red card in the loss to Tottenham , whilst Wan-Bissaka sustained an upper-body knock, though he might feature this weekend.

George Earthy remains unavailable due to a thigh problem, which is expected to keep him out until the end of November.
