Postecoglou on Leverkusen's radar to replace Ten Hag
Ange Postecoglou could replace Erik ten Hag as manager of Bayer Leverkusen according to reports.
Former Manchester United manager Ten Hag was sacked after just three games in charge of the Bundesliga side who saw some key figures leave the club this summer.
Recent reports have suggested turbulence behind the scenes with neither Ten Hag or Leverkusen coming out of the fallout looking well.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 2023/24 Bundesliga winners could turn to another former Premier League manager in Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian's final act as Tottenham Hotspur manager was defeating Ruben Amorim's United in the Europa League final. That trophy didn't prevent Postecoglou's dismissal though with Thomas Frank stepping in.
Die Schwarzroten may face competition for Postecoglou though, as Fenerbahçe are also in the market for a new coach and are said to be considering the 60-year-old after sacking José Mourinho.
In total, Postecoglou oversaw 101 games for Tottenham, with a record of 47 wins, 15 draws, and 39 defeats.
