Prem star unleashes X-rated rant at Sweden boss hours before he's sacked
ANTHONY ELANGA allegedly unleashed an X-rated blast over Jon Dahl Tomasson’s tactics hours before the Sweden manager was sacked.
The Danish coach paid the price for a disastrous World Cup qualification campaign on Tuesday after a 1-0 home defeat to Kosovo left them bottom of Group B.

That was a third-straight game in which Sweden had failed to score despite Liverpool’s £130m Alexander Isak and Arsenal’s £54.8m Viktor Gyokeres leading the line.
Neither star has found the net in qualifying so far and their slim hopes of reaching next summer’s showpiece depends on them beating both Switzerland and Slovenia next month to grab a play-off spot.
Stubborn Tomasson opted to play both strikers in a 3-5-2 formation, which led to Newcastle winger Elanga being benched last night for the second game in a row.
And Swedish media outlet Radiosporten claim Elanga’s frustrations boiled over in the players’ tunnel after the final whistle at the Nya Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg as he shouted: “The f***ing system has to go.”
When asked about the outburst, Tomasson told reporters: “I haven't heard what he said so I can't comment on it.”
However, although it was more measured, Elanga continued to vent when quizzed about the system.
The 23-year-old, who joined Newcastle in a £55million deal from Nottingham Forest this summer , said: “We also have to take responsibility.
“We have worked on a system, on how we are going to play. Then it may look a little different when you are on the field. And it is also us who are on the field who have to take responsibility.”
Elanga, who has been forced to play either in an unnatural role of wing-back or striker , then admitted his anger at being dropped without any explanation as to why by the now departed Tomasson.
He added: “It's frustrating. As a footballer, you always want to play. I was completely healthy.
“I'm disappointed that's clear. I feel refreshed, but you have to respect that [not being picked]. No [explanation from Tomasson], but it's hard to take a break.”
