Rabiot Shock Exit: Marseille Axe Star After Just 1 Game

Olympique de Marseille have confirmed that Adrien Rabiot (29) has been placed on the transfer list, just one Ligue 1 match into the season.

The France international joined OM last summer on a free transfer after leaving Juventus, and was left out of training sessions on Monday and Tuesday following the club’s 1-0 defeat to Rennes on the opening day. According to L’Équipe , Marseille have made clear that the decision was taken collectively by president Pablo Longoria, sporting director Mehdi Benatia, and head coach Roberto De Zerbi, rather than by the latter alone – as claimed earlier in the day by Rabiot’s mother and agent, Véronique.
