The American, who was already on a booking after an earlier incident, brought down Matteo Guendouzi in midfield, with the Biancocelesti urging the referee to issue the Juventus man with a red card.

However, Colombo kept his cards in his pocket and decided not to dismiss the Bianconeri midfielder.

The second incident involved a potential penalty for Juventus , after Mario Gila was judged to have stood on the foot of Bianconeri winger Francisco Conceicao.

The Juventus man went down and Gila immediately looked sheepish, anticipating a spot-kick for the visitors.
