Max Dowman became the second youngest Premier League player of all time after coming on for Arsenal against Leeds
Max Dowman's introduction in the 64th minute for Arsenal against Leeds United this weekend was a historic moment for the teenager.
At 15 years and 235 days, he became the second youngest Premier League player of all time behind team-mate Ethan Nwaneri and there will be now huge expectation for the talented midfielder to fulfil his potential.
Dowman underlined just how far he could go in the game as he came on at the Emirates and immediately made an impact - cracking off shots and eventually winning a penalty for Arsenal's fifth goal of the day.
He now joins an esteemed list of players who were trusted with debuts at a very young age, with some going on to achieve big things and others wasting their talents and enduring frustrating careers.
