Newcastle are back in Premier League action this afternoon, making the lengthy journey south to face Brighton . The Magpies will be full of confidence following impressive victories over Nottingham Forest and Union Saint-Gilloise before the international break.
Brighton themselves are on a decent run, having secured a win and a draw against Bournemouth and Chelsea , respectively, prior to the break.
Eddie Howe's men currently sit 11th in the table, but they might have one eye on Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Benfica, where Jose Mourinho brings his team to St James' Park.

Brighton host Newcastle on Saturday, October 18, with the match scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
The last time these two teams faced each other, it ended in a 1-1 draw, with former Newcastle star Alexander Isak salvaging a point for his side with an 89th-minute penalty.

Unfortunately for UK fans, the match between Brighton and Newcastle won't be broadcast live by either Sky Sports or TNT Sports. Due to the 3pm blackout that all top-flight clubs must respect, matches kicking off at that time aren't shown on TV.
