Arsenal star, 25, in £15m Crystal Palace talks as Eagles look to replace Eze

CRYSTAL PALACE are in talks over signing Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson for £15million.
Palace, who sold Eberechi Eze to the north London club last week for £67.5m, are looking to strengthen their attacking options.

This is despite the fact they have agreed a £19.9m fee for Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino who is certain to arrive at Selhurst Park.
Fulham had looked certain to sign winger Nelson, 25, who spent some of last season on loan at Craven Cottage.
Yet the west London club have been unable to agree a deal and now Palace have entered the race.
They are understood to be speaking to Nelson’s advisors and hopeful they can reach an agreement.
Nelson is looking to finally break away from Arsenal where he has spent all of his career with the exception of loan spells at Fulham, Hoffenheim and Feyenoord .
He has made 35 starts for Arsenal and 55 substitute appearances but his Gunners career has never really got going.
Now, with two years remaining on his contract, he wants to find a permanent new home in search of regular first-team football .
Former Arsenal pal Alex Iwobi has been texting Nelson to join Fulham even though he had his spell at the club cut short by two hamstring injuries last term.
But Palace now seem to be Nelson's most likely destination.
The Eagles have enjoyed a solid start to the season but boss Oliver Glasner remains frustrated over a lack of signings.
And it's unlikely Nelson would be the Austrian boss' final buy of the summer.
Palace are embarking on their first-ever European campaign, having already played the first leg of their Conference League qualifier.
They beat Fredrikstad FK 1-0 at Selhurst Park last week but must avoid defeat on their artificial pitch on Thursday to qualify for the league phase.
Meanwhile, Palace have also been linked with a move to sign former loan star Conor Gallagher .

The English midfielder is currently playing in LaLiga for Atletico Madrid .
He played 32 times in the league for Diego Simone's side last term and scored three goals.
Gallagher spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Selhurst Park from Chelsea and became a firm fan favourite with eight Prem goals in 34 outings.
The Eagles will face competition from Everton for his signature.
