Inter and Manchester United remain interested in Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha

Italy’s Corriere dello Sport reports that Inter Milan have enquired about the possibility of acquiring Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha . The Serie A club’s pursuit of Nmecha may nevertheless be greatly hindered by Dortmund’s €60m asking pice. Nmecha is worth over double his current estimated market worth (€28m) to his current Bundesliga club.

Nmecha recently completed a very strong training camp for Germany’s Shwarzgelben and is expected to partner in midfield with England U21 international Jobe Bellingham this season. Whether Dortmund remain interested in selling the four-times-capped international at all remains highly questionable.

Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Nmecha this summer and, according to the report, are still interested. United may possess the resources to meet Dortmund’s demands.

As integral a component as Nmecha might be to Niko Kovac’s team, Dortmund will hardly pass up the opportunity to earn double the amount they paid to acquire him from Wolfsburg two years ago.

Felix Nmecha – like his elder brother Lukas – was also raised partially in Manchester while working in the Man City academy. Both brothers represented England at youth level before switching to Germany.
