Official: Barcelona squad list to face Levante – veteran star returns, but captain misses out
FC Barcelona will take on newly-promoted UD Levante in their second game of the 2025/26 La Liga season later tonight at Cituat de Valencia .
Ahead of the game, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players available at his disposal, welcoming one key player back.
Indeed, Robert Lewandowski has been granted clearance by the medical department after he recovered from a thigh muscle strain and is back in the squad for Levante.
While that comes as a big boost for the Blaugrana , they continue to be without the presence of Gerard Martin, Wojciech Szczesny, Marc Bernal, and Roony Bardghji – all of whom remain unregistered.
Flick had hoped to have Martin available for today’s trip to Levante, but that has not turned out to be the case.
Meanwhile, one of the club captains and key midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, is also not called up after he missed some training sessions this week due to the birth of his second child.
Youngsters Jofre Torrents, Dro, and Toni Fernandez have been named in the squad again.
