The first one showcased him during the early days of his legendary playing career with it taken after Man United had won a cup game at the old Wembley Stadium.

The 54-year-old went into reflective mood while passing the photos around the group. He said: "You’re on about photos, look at that there.

"You’re on about family, the ups and downs of football. But when you see your family at Wembley after you’ve won a big game..."

Wright, Scott and Neville had to take over the conversation as they noticed Keane was rendered speechless due to being overcome at the sight of his parents looking on proudly at the home of English football.

The former Arsenal hitman even kindly placed a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder as he welled up. Wright further remarked: "That's beautiful."

After composing himself, it only took Keane a few seconds to revert back to his regular wisecracking tough guy persona.

Pointing at a childhood pic of himself and his siblings, the one-time Tottenham fan quipped: "I'm in a United top there but that was my brother's, I think the Spurs one was sold out."

Roy's father Maurice 'Mossie' Keane sadly passed away in 2019 at the age of 79 after suffering a stroke.

It was very much an episode rooted in days of yesteryear as the ex-footballers brought in copies of their contracts from their spells at some of the biggest clubs in England.

Longtime Red Devils captain Roy revealed incredible details from his Man United deals including flight perks and a huge yearly bonus.

One of his contracts was shown to the camera as it revealed the interesting details that can go into a player's deal.

Keane's signing-on fee was split across the four-year contract, which would see him be paid £1million a year until it expired.

One clause that is stated meant that United would provide flights to him and his family between Manchester and Cork.

It read: "The club will provide 20 return flights Manchester/Cork/Manchester for the use of the player, his partner and children for each year of this contract commencing from 1 July 2002."

The contract also revealed the wording that allows players to feature for the national side.

Keane played 67 times for the Republic of Ireland during his career, scoring nine goals.

The clause stated: "The club shall release the player for National Representative matches for which he is selected in accordance with the principles of co-operation between Member Associations of Fifa and their clubs."

The contract was not all in favour of the player though as Keane agreed to obligations to the club. This included providing "reasonable assistance" for the club's in-house media MUTV.

Ironically, it was an interview with MUTV, in which he ripped into his teammates, that led to his acrimonious exit from the club in 2005.
