WEST HAM are in talks over a London Stadium return for keeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The former Arsenal keeper made 216 appearances after his £7m arrival from Swansea in 2018.

And he was handed a farewell game at Ipswich in the final match of the season.

West Ham had previously announced he would leave when his contract expired.

But the Pole did not find a new club over the summer.

Hammers’ chief Graham Potter spent £16.5m to land Mads Hermansen from relegated Leicester just before the start of the season.

The Dane, though, has had a mixed start to East End life.

And West Ham contacted Fabianski over a return as the third choice behind Hermansen and Alphonse Areola.

Free agent Fabianski is keen on the prospect of re-signing for the club.

And it is believed that deal could be struck before the weekend.

The arrival of Fabianski comes after Wes Foderingham left the London Stadium.

The stopper has made a shock move to Cyprus with Aris Limassol.

Foderingham only joined West Ham a year ago but failed to make a single appearance.

He was allowed to quit on a free transfer and has penned a two-year deal with his new club.
