Wolves continue their search for a first Premier League win of the season on Sunday as they host an unpredictable Brighton side at Molineux.

Brighton, meanwhile, capitalized on Chelsea being reduced to ten men, coming from behind to claim an impressive 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge. That result marked the Seagulls’ second victory of the season, and they’ll be eager to build on their positive record against Wolves.

Historically, Brighton have enjoyed the upper hand in this fixture, winning six of their last nine meetings with Wolves in all competitions, including a 2-0 victory at Molineux when they last met in May. Goals have been a regular feature when these sides face off—six of the last nine encounters have seen over 2.5 goals, and each of Brighton’s last six matches has produced at least three goals.

Both teams have found the net frequently this season: five of Brighton’s eight games have seen both teams score, as have four of Wolves’ last six fixtures. With Brighton in better form and boasting a strong recent record against Wolves, the visitors are tipped to edge a high-scoring contest at Molineux, with a 2-1 win looking likely.
